trip the light fantastic

These are paintings are by my gorgeous friend and incredibly talented Sydney-based artist Michele Morcos, aka tinytrappings. Her latest exhibition at Breathing Colours Gallery on Darling Street, Balmain showcases magic landscapes exploring themes of time and water and Michele's relationship with the land, notably in rural New South Wales, Australia. I can't express how much joy and delight I feel when I see the colourful oeuvre of Michele's but can only recommend you go and see it for yourself and enjoy the feeling too. The exhibition at Breathing Colours is on until 7th July 2012.

Oh how delightful!

The hats! The cheeks! The set! The sounds! ..and Sydney was lucky to have Efterklang play at our Opera House last week. We were a bit slow on the draw for getting tickets so will have to enjoy their beautiful sound and style over the internet for now.
