One of my favourite things..

Since I'm on the Swiss theme here, thought I'd include a glimpse of my all time favourite album - Goldfrapp's Felt Mountain. This was the soundtrack to my first trip to Germany as it was on repeat throughout my travels. I will never tire of this album, it is so beautiful and has an air of magic about it. I play and sing the songs as lullabies to my son when he goes to sleep and it makes me smile.

Catching the Light

Rumour has it that 2011 is the year the aurora is likely to show it's true colours after a mild hiatus. Something to be very excited over.. I'm ready!

Magic

It may be a bit of old-new news but its beauty is timeless. This light installation in a tree in Burgundy, France titled Nest One was created by Simon Husslein, who describes it as "a woven sphere glowing at sunset.. changing colours symbolize new life plated into a dying tree."
